2007 marked the 20th anniversary of Weiss Attorneys at Law, an accomplishment which was celebrated by friends and clients this past December 27th with a concert at The Roberts Orpheum Theater. Featuring London-born Sony recording artist Simon Mulligan, an audience of over 500 enjoyed both classical and a St. Louis-themed jazz program consisting of Scott Joplin compositions and Simon Mulligan’s own arrangement of “Meet Me in St. Louis.” The concert ended with a virtuoso rendition of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” performed with a flair and interpretation which capped off a remarkable evening. What a night to celebrate!

But what we wanted to acknowledge was all the true friends and many acquaintances we have made over these past 20 years. Both my Partner, Hermann Eisele, and all of the staff at Weiss Attorneys at Law, genuinely thank you for the privilege of allowing us to be a part of your business and family.  We appreciate the trust you have placed in us and look forward to serving you, your business and your family, in the future.

While the concert program was set weeks in advance, there was a bit of unscripted good humor when three good friends – John Nickel, Peter Sargent and Tim Cantwell, took over the stage and, as they are want to do, recounted stories gathered from years of shared experiences.

For me it was a magical evening, fulfilling something I have wanted to do for some time. But I never imagined having so many friends and acquaintances joining in the celebration, and never imagined such a splendid evening of entertainment and just fun!

The thought of planning the 25th anniversary celebration became all the more daunting of a challenge in light of the success of this celebration. I trust we will think of something, and hope that you will be able to join us – for whatever we then have in store.

In the meantime, we hope that you will enjoy browsing through photos of the evening’s 20th anniversary celebration. And again, thank you for letting us be a part of your business and family.
